The lifespan of you mattress will depend on several factors, such as amount of use and original quality. In general, mattresses should be replaced after a period of 7 to 10 years. By then, the components would have deteriorated by about 75%.

Today’s technologically advanced foams and fibers are designed to conform to your body shape and reduce pressure points. For this reason, you will likely notice some body impressions on the mattress surface.

Temperature may affect the performance of the foams in your mattress. Cooler conditions may render your mattress harder and warmer temperatures may make it softer.

Care instructions

Always refer to the manufacturer’s suggestions on how to best care for your mattress as your warranty may be voided with improper and/or unapproved care.

Cover your mattress with a washable mattress pad, which will absorb perspiration and can be easily removed and washed.

Rotate your mattress every 3 months or more often if instructed by the manufacturer.

To prevent moisture buildup, air out the mattress for half an hour by removing the covers before you make it.
